In September 2002 I got a phone call from a woman who was an
editor of mine when I wrote for a children's magazine. She told me
she was now the editor for the Science and Health section of the
Boston Globe newspaper, and would I be interested in writing some
astronomy articles for her?

So we got right to work and mapped out a few.
I will link to them as they are available. It appears that the
articles are free for a short amount of time, and then
go into the archives which can be displayed only if you
are a paid subscriber to the Globe.
X Doesn't Mark the Spot
(November 5, 2002) about
why there is no rogue planet on its
way to kill everyone on Earth in May 2003. Available for paid Globe subscribers.
Shedding Light on Dark Matter (December 31, 2002), about how the Chandra
X-ray telescope has found very compelling evidence for the existance of
dark matter.
