Scientists have been able to identify methane in the atmosphere of an exoplanet located <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/23/AR2008032301237.html" rel="nofollow">63 light years</a> from Earth. While it doesn't confirm the existence of actual life on the planet, it does at least seem to be a strong indicator of the presence of Taco Bells. This is completely unrelated to this particular post, but The Washington Post had an interesting article on Monday.
