Dragon*Pod
If you’re looking for something to do this fine Sunday afternoon (well, it is for me) then you might be interested in heading over to Dragon*Pod, the official Dragon*Con podcast, which just released their premier episode. It’s hosted by Derek and Swoopy (MMMmmmmmm, Swoopy) from Skepticality and Kevin from the Firefly podcast The Signal. There’s music by my man George Hrab, too, so there’s no losing.
I’ll remind you that D*C is a HUGE science fiction/comic/fantasy convention in Atlanta. I’ll be there, James Randi will be there, Michael Shermer will be there, and OMG OMG OMG guess who else?!
Oh I’ll be there with bells on! Well that’s figuratively speaking of course! I won’t wear bells again, people kept hitting me the last time….
*gloat* I’ve met all three of the Firefly/Serenity cast members. Even had dinner with Morena! */gloat*
Actually the only member of the main cast I haven’t met is Gina Torres. But of the others, I had the most chance to chat with Morena, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau, and (somewhat less so) Adam.
I’m such a fanboy.
So might finally get to meet Jewel Staite! She is really nice. Remember to get a picture.
