New issue of Space Lifestyle is out

Back in September the magazine Space Lifestyle premiered featuring an interview with moi. The new issue just came out, and I read through it. It’s pretty nice. It’s totally online, but laid out like a print mag. At first the new window that launches threw me off, but now I see its utility; it allows a more natural magazine-like layout that a normal browser window wouldn’t manage.

If you subscribe, which is free, you can qualify for prizes in contests and such (including a microgravity ride!). You also get an email letting you know when a new issue is out (free hint to Space Lifestyles editors: RSS).

It’s worth checking out.

Looks like a useful popular account of various space related topics. I especially like the article about ekpyrotic cosmology: sometimes a popular account is helpful when wading through the equations in the related papers!

    Thanks

I deliberately passed on this magazine when you first mentioned it, BA, principally because I’m already so inundated with stuff to read, both in print and online, that I suspect this will not get my full attention. But, like folks who can’t resist purchasing an interesting-looking book, I’ll give this a try.
It can’t add much more clutter to an already-cluttered mind. It is probably a good thing that I have poor retention ability…

Very well done magazine. Although a little frustrating trying to get it to fit my browser. I wonder if it would be better in PDF format? I’m sure they’ll come up with a print version when Virgin Galactic takes flight, and have them as the “In-Flight” reading material!

“Parabolic Flight and Jazz Contest”? I don’t see the link.
