Not to be a jerk, but are there going to be more posts explaining actual science any time soon? That Meteorite Mayhem one had potential, where’s part 2? Are they all being saved for the book and the blog is just filler?
Wallace and Gromit? I know of a book that does a thourough engineering analysis of the vehicle in “Grand Day Out” along with putting the film in historical perspective and identifying the five or six famous SF films parodied.
Gee, it might even be on your bookshelf if you look hard enough. Another might find its way into the hands of one of your blogees if you say the word…
That’s nothing. After watching several videos I now believe that bored housewives will engage in mad passionate acts of lust with any random poolboy or plumber in the neighbourhood.
Soyahh, try “A Man on the Moon” by Andrew Chaikin. It is a superb summary of the whole Apollo programme. It was written after a huge amount of research, that included interviews with almost all the key players.
Gus Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee (sp?) deserve to be remembered. They died testing part of one of the most complex machines ever built. Several important lessons were learned as a result of the Apollo 1 fire, mainly relating to the design of the hatch-opening mechanism and conducting routine tests in a pure-oxygen atmosphere.
You might also peruse the BAUT Forum and perhaps ask a few questions about things you don’t understand or think you understand based upon that movie. I guarantee if you play nicely there are plenty of people who would be happy to help you learn why movies and videos claiming to offer proof we didn’t go to the Moon are wrong.

Patience. I am busy, and these kinds of posts are easy and only take a minute to put together.
Stop whining. The cartoon has potential if you click through.
You didn’t post the intermediate one where Stef (who is the strip’s resident moron), is sternly lectured that Moon Hoax is bollocks.
after watching a video i now believe man kind did not land on the moon because of evidence shown on the movie.
I would like to know more on how Gus Grissom was killed along with the others killed on the launch of Apollo1
Hey Phil!

As for your question about Gus Grissom, might I suggest you read a book on the subject? Or failing that, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_1 .

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, moon cheese.
Soyahh, what movie did you watch that convinced you of that?
The Fox “Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?”
Was it something by Bart Sibrel? “Astronauts Gone Wild”
Could it have been “Capricorn 1″?
