My Skepchick calendar arrived in the mail the other day (actually two; one was a gift for a friend). Hooray! I’ve been waiting for this a long time, and I was not disappointed. The pictures are quite good. Downright artistic.
The woman who managed the project told me she wanted to use my book as a prop, but I wasn’t sure what she meant until I flipped to October. Um. Yes. Ahem! The picture above shows that month’s image, and if you click it you’ll see exactly what she meant. I should warn you: (mildly) Not Safe For Work. Probably. Depends on where you work, I guess.
She tells me the calendars are selling fast. If you want one, you’d better get moving. Quantities literally are low. Almost all money made will go toward a fund to help women attend James Randi’s "The Amaz!ng Meeting 4, a skeptical event that I will be blogging about shortly.
Think the calendar is a great idea? Think it’s a terrible idea? Then talk about it on the Skepchick forum! A lot of interesting discussion is going on there.
Oh, by the way– she signed my calendar, right above her picture. As to what she said… that’s our secret. ![]()
I had originally titled this “Amaz!ng Naked Skepchicks”, but I decided to change it because it conveys the wrong message. Plus, not all the skepchicks are naked in the calendar.

Phil, come on, I’m always safe for work. So long as you work in a carnival. I’ll see you in Vegas, Angel Cake!
Paolo, cool link, thanks!

BA, Just a friendly warning between skeptics. Don’t let Mrs BA catch you gazing at the skepchicks for too long. You might not be able to open your eyes wide enough to view the Quadrantid meteor shower in January.

ok! I give up! Why do you make it so hard to find how to order the Calendar? I really want one, but after sifting through all this stuff, I have yet to locate where it can be ordered! HELP

Hawaii– Mrs. BA looked through it as well, and laughed at November. One of the many reasons I married her (or she married me, for that matter).
Jane, the calendar can be ordered from this page: http://www.skepchick.org/projects.html
